Ptr. Jason's preaching earlier (6pm) is pretty much what happened to my day.
on the way to Manila, i was reading my bible, particularly the Book of Matthew. i kept on reading & eventually got dizzy :)) so i stopped at Matthew chapter 6 :)
its a chapter that says DO NOT WORRY, trust God all the time. it says in the bible Matthe 6:33 "but seek first the kingdom of God & his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well." i was meditating in this verse for a while, and then nung Tithes & Offering na, yang ung verse na binasa ni Ptr. Bojo. i was really surprised, like WOOOAH! is this de ja vous? :D
going to Greenhills from Pasay, we were caught by a MMDA officer not wearng our seatbelt. :| oo ABALA! so i was nervous that maybe i wont be able to go on time for the 6pm service. while my dad was arguing with this officer, asking for 1500 (the fudge!) and telling us (750 nga lang po pursyento ko jan ehh), tapos humihingi pa ng lagay. grabeee!!, on my mind, i was praying for the officer na sana kahit papano palagpasin na nya kami, kasi he caught us nung palagay pa lang kami ng seatbelt, we didnt see him actually na andun, sumulpot bigla. :| i prayed and i prayed, and pinakalma ko sarili ko that everything will be fine, tapos boom! the officer gave back my dad's license without ticket and said "ingat na lang po kayo sa susunod, para din nmn po sa safety niyo to, wag niyo na pong uulitin".. haha PRAY, it works :)
sa preaching ni Ptr. Jason, tungkol din sa violation sa daan. when he was caught swirving along EDSA, he did the same thing, he prayed and asked the officer for forgiveness for what he did wrong, funny thing he was listening to worship songs so th officer asked him "pastor po ba kayo?" ptr.jason said "hindi, nagchuchurch lang ako".. then the officer gave back his license and said "sige na nga, ang bait niyo kasi" hahaha seee!
lesson here is, God will give you everything but He will not give you everything in an instant, we just have to ASK. , & never forget to thank Him for everything. Ask and you shall receive. Dont you just love God? He's Amazing! — at Victory Greenhills.
